Chris Kaba sank a 3-pointer with 23 seconds left and Will Figures scored 23 points as Northern Colorado edged Eastern Washington 58-54 Thursday night. Kaba, who was subbing for the Bears’ injured second-leading scorer, Devon Beitzel, had 14 points and made all three of his 3-pointers in the second half.

Durham, NH- The Brown University gymnastics team fell 194.975-188.300 to the University of New Hampshire on Friday evening in Durham. Freshman Emily Lutfey had a solid day for the Bears, earning second place in the all-around competition.

Morgan State rolls past Florida A&M 94-68 (AP via Yahoo! Sports)

Reggie Holmes and Dewayne Jackson each scored 25 points to lead Morgan State to a 94-68 victory over Florida A&M on Sunday. Holmes, who entered as the fifth-leading scorer in Division I at 22.8 points a game, hit four 3-pointers and Jackson came off the bench to hit six from beyond the arc for the Bears (17-7, 9-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who are 6-0 at home this year.
