Seventh death linked to H1N1 flu in Delaware (Smyrna Clayton Sun Times)

Officials with Delaware’s Division of Public Health (DPH) learned Tuesday that a 47-year old Kent County man died of H1N1 flu-related causes on March 7. He is the seventh person in the state whose death was related to the H1N1 virus.

Norovirus outbreaks reported in South Florida (Miami Herald)

Scattered outbreaks of norovirus are taking place in South Florida and around the state, health officials say. Norovirus, also called “stomach flu,” causes nausea, diarrhea, vomiting and stomach cramping. Symptoms may also include a low-grade fever, chills, headache, muscle aches and a general sense of tiredness, according to the U.S.
