Fire District approves long-term disability insurance

COLUMBIA The Boone County Fire Protection District will now offer long-term disability insurance to its full-time employees. At its meeting Monday night, the Fire District board unanimously approved an insurance plan offered through Assurant Employee Benefits. The plan lasts 24 months and will cost the district $363 per month.
