Did you know, per msnbc.com, that more than 60 million in the US have already been vaccinated against H1N1? With cases falling nationwide, the numbers show the safety and the effectiveness of the vaccine. Now that vaccine is plentiful, the states have opened H1N1 vaccination to everyone. Influenza comes in waves; the next H1N1 wave may come in early 2010. It is unknown how long this H1N1 flu pandemic will last, perhaps into 2011 (per WHO.com). The health ministry will conduct an epidemiologic investigation into whether H1N1 influenza vaccinations can increase the death risk for people with serious chronic diseases, ministry officials said Wednesday. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare plans to begin the study next spring amid an increasing number of reports of deaths and serious side effects among the people who have received shots of domestically produced vaccines against the virus. The ministry said postvaccination deaths have totaled 104, roughly 80 percent of whom are people aged 70 or older who had chronic diseases or disorders, while nearly 1900 cases of side effects had been reported from medical institutions. search.japantimes.co.jp vac’s comments: I wonder if this was with Pandemrix, with the adjuvant, cause then it stands to reason. I think the vaccine though in a lessor dangerous form it a lot like the swine flu itself, which I still feel looked more lab created than natural and was all about making money, hence the massive push for the vaccines and the Polish PM saying they were pressuring Governments to buy. They wanted those with underlying conditions to get the vaccine, cause of what the swine flu could do and yet cause the vaccine is similar to the swine flu, seemed obvious then that there actually might be as much risk having the vaccine as risking maybe catching the swine flu. In fact maybe more, especially as now the swine flu is waning as such and you might not have caught it anyway, where as having the vaccine you are, well, gonna get it, and no guarantee it would be 100% effective, carried side effects, including deaths risk and takes up to 10 days before producing the anti-bodies needed to be effective anyway.
